MICHELLE PFEIFFER (left) in “The Hollywood Knights”, her first motion picture launched on cinemas… released 33 years ago, on May 18th, 1980 in New York.
It was the first major film for Tony Danza, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Wuhl, all of whom would go on to achieve their own individual stardom, although only Pfeiffer was who went on to a long and successful career in cinema. ;-)

“I am on my way to find a star”, said the witch-queen, “which fell in the great woods of the other side of Mount Belly. And when I find her, I shall take my great knife and cut out her heart, while she lives, and while her heart is her own.”

I just have all these memories of her – letting a live bird fly out of her mouth and learning to use the whip and jumping around rooftop sets in high heels. The work and just the performance were very, very impressive. I don’t really go back and look at the movies but her performance in that was one of my favorite performances of anything by anyone in any movie that I’ve worked on. It was just the best. Really, I’ll never forget her in that. - Tim Burton

I want you to tell her that I cannot explain why I broke with her as I did. But that since then, my life has been worth nothing. Tell her it is lucky for her that I have gone and I am glad not to have to live without her. Tell her, her love was the only real happiness that I have ever known.
